Great place to stay!! Rustic cabin with a great firepit and supplied wood! Great things in the area to see and do; also a great place just to hang out and do nothing!!

Vrbo Cabin was nice! I took a moment to read the reviews, as to get a good Idea what to expect coming into this. I would like to preface that the people who left lower reviews Did not do the cabin, or the owners justice. We came to here as newlyweds, and were greeted with flowers, and some free accomodations in the fridge. We were given alot of grace regarding the checkin as we showed up hours later. Someone made a comment about how they had wished the showers had more hot water. Me and my wife had taken notice of the fact that we had hot water for 10 minutes or longer, and for such a small cabin I think that is more than reasonable. I would also say that the outside shower did not get cold once. Some reviewers commented on the dead bugs, and I was able to see that for myself on the upper loft. I remembered speaking to one of the owners regarding the subject and was given a vaccuum cleaner to use for cleaning. He also remarked that when one is in this part of kentucky, insects are impossible to avoid especially given the seasons we were in. I wasnt really bothered by this, and felt that this was understandeable. all in all I felt the cabin was maintenized and kept by the owners to the best of their ability lastly, a sweet thing that happened during my stay, is that the owners lent me and my Wife a helping hand more than once during our time here. If you're looking for warmth and hospitality in the people you'll be working with, This site had it. We were spoiled.

There were 5-6 cups/mugs, none of them were clean. Host contacted me day before arrival regarding additional pets rather than when I originally booked; was not super happy with having to book a minimum of 2 nights as well. It’s kind of hard to locate, and hiking opportunities are quite far from the property. The cabin is nice, comfortable, and quaint; we just wanted more hiking opportunities. Host had DVDs and WiFi available, which was also a nice touch. It’s reasonably priced for what it is.
