Enter Get a New Altitude from the front porch, just steps from the level driveway. This level features an impressive open common space with a dining area, kitchen, half-bath, and the living room with floor-to- ceiling stone fireplace. The dining table seats 6-8 comfortably, with additional seating for 4 at the island bar. The well-appointed kitchen is every chef's dream: it's fully equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator (with icemaker), 5-burner gas range, microwave, and Bosch dishwasher. Other items provided in the kitchen are a coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster, and a wide assortment of cooking, serving, and eating utensils. A full-size washer and dryer are located off the kitchen on the main level of the home.
Watch the big game on the large flat screen TV or snuggle up next to the commanding wood burning fireplace; regardless, we know you will feel totally relaxed when you treat yourself to a stay at Get a New Attitude.
The main level is also where you will find the first of five bedrooms. The main level screen porch is the perfect place to grill out and enjoy a pretty day! Here you will find the gas grill, a dining table to seat 6 located in front of the woodburning fireplace, and a ping-pong table for those seeking a little fun.
When you get to the top of the stairs you will find a loft where it's easy to play games, assemble puzzles, or simply enjoy the amazing view from the sitting area. Bedrooms two and three are located on this level. Bedroom two has a king size bed and a flat screen streaming TV. Bedroom three has a queen bed, flat screen streaming tv, and a private deck. Stunning views from the top of the mountain. The location was great and the house was overall well maintained, although it did have a bit of dirt and was full of ladybugs. Despite this, I would still recommend this property for a mountain getaway. One tip I would have is to book directly through the property's website rather than VRBO, as it seems to be cheaper that way. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The house overall is very nice . One of the best views of the mountains as shown in the listing. We stayed for 3 nights mid November.Unfortunately, there was one big issue and it was the excessive lady bugs inside and outside the house. Right when we checked in we were treated with dead lady bugs everywhere… on the couch , on bed, in the floors and outside patio furniture. 1st thing we had to do was vacuum all the house. A little bit of bugs is understatement , there was bugs everywhere. The very next day after cleaning we woke up with more bugs everywhere inside the house. We just got around it and try to ignore the issue as much as we can. This is unfortunately because the house overall is beautiful. Is 20min from Blue ridge town, 1 hr from Helen and 2hr to ruby falls. Kitchen had many spices and kitchen supply pots and pans and silverware. All beds are very confortable and many towels as well. We really liked the house but until something serious is not done with the lady bugs we won’t be returning anytime soon.
