This is a 1 bedroom / 1 bath suite located at "The Ash," a vintage motel renovated into an eclectic and modern mix of vacation rentals.
This eclectic and cozy suite features a living area with a flat-screen TV, nap-worthy day bed and picture window that fills the space with natural light. A kitchen features a wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and most importantly a coffee maker.
The living space displays the works of Michigan artisans, local and vintage furniture touches to complement a decor with hints of charm. Neutral palettes with pops of color are featured in all of the fun and photo-worthy suites.
Convenient parking is located directly in front of each suite. Our single story and open floor plans are super convenient.
Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and boating are all just a short drive from this ideally located property.

A really lovely place to stay when visiting Sault Ste. Marie! Close to restaurants and shopping, lots of parking on site, very clean and pleasant accomodations. Comfortable beds and pillows! Well equipped kitchenette for basic needs. And the vintage, eclectic decor mixed with the modern ammenities makes it so cozy. You can tell that the owners take pride in this establishment, as well as put a lot of love in the renovations and updating of this property. Very easy check-in and check-out, as well as a thoughtful welcome book that literally has information in it for everything you would need for your stay. When I come back to this area, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The little property was cute. The decor was well done. We contacted the property owner about checking in early and they were very accommodating. We were able to check in about an hour early which was very appreciated. There are just a few things that need improvement. We were required to wash the dishes before we left but there were no dishcloths or sponges. We also only had less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and paper towel. for our stay. There were no extras. The bathtub drain was plugged so it made for an unpleasant shower experience. There were also no filters for the coffee maker. We only stayed one night so when we discovered all these things it was the next day when we were to check out otherwise we would have contacted the owner. Just a few things to make sure are taken care of for guests especially for over $200 a night.
