About this house rental
Perched on a cliff edge overlooking the Atlantic ocean & Rossnowlagh beach, the newly renovated Cliff house offers a spacious haven split across three levels. Now featuring 7 bedrooms - all with their own bathroom, a tennis/basketball court, sauna & plunge pool, a games room and an outdoor kitchen with traditional stone pizza oven! Offering breathtaking ocean views, this is the perfect place to unwind for families and large groups, as you watch the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean.

After month's of renovations - we have now reopened and ready to welcome our guests to the new and improved 'Cliff House'

★ Our new Master Bedroom not only has a beautiful private shower ensuite, coffee machine, mini fridge & walk in wardrobe, it also offers panoramic ocean views from our SuperKing bed, seating area, or step through the slider doors onto your own private balcony.
★ A 7th bedroom has been added to our Ground which is great for those with mobility restrictions

★ We also offer two seating areas in our open plan space, one with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean & the other with a wood burning stove and Smart TV
★ Our reading room offers stylish and comfortable furnishings & a rustic open fire - perfect for relaxing with a book on colder evenings
★ The house also features a combo Washing machine & dryer in the utility room on the lower ground floor- ideal for those longer stays
★ We have a sizable wet room with a walk in shower and WC on the lower ground floor beside the back door entrance
★ Our Games room on the lower ground floor is equipped with a pool table, dart board, board games and a Smart TV - perfect for keeping younger guests entertained!
★ We have a large, private outdoor all-weather pitch which is available for your use and can be set up for tennis, basketball or football. We have rackets and balls available for your use which are stored in the games room.
★ There is also a door off the games room to our private garden & patio area with an outdoor shower overlooking the beach - perfect for washing the sand off after a walk or swim!
★ Our Pizza Hut & Entertainment room can be accessed via the lower ground floor or through gates at the front entrance of the house - this room offers a traditional stone Pizza oven, a fully equipped kitchen with sink, fridge freezer, Bosch coffee machine, crockery and cutlery, an open fire and plenty of comfortable seating. Our surround sound system & LED lighting make this the ideal entertainment space! Our bifold doors can also be opened up in finer weather to further enjoy the amazing views!
★Heat up in our Sauna or cool down in our Plunge Pool - both offering breathtaking Ocean Views!
★ A Green Egg BBQ to enjoy on those summer days
Along with Cliff House, we will also be offering 'CLIFF LODGE' to those who wish to host a larger group. Cliff Lodge is a self contained 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom lodge that can sleep up to a further 6 persons. It features an open plan kitchen, dining and living room with amazing sea reviews. The bed configuration for the lodge is 1 King bedroom with ensuite and another room with a bunk bed that features a double and single bed and another single bed, along with its own ensuite. If you wish to book the lodge alongside the main house, we have a separate listing on Airbnb for you to book!

The property is fitted with a lockbox so you can come and go at your own leisure. You will be sent check in information a day prior to arrival and we are on hand to help with any questions you may have.

Absolutely stunning home with a view unlike any we've seen. It feels like you're floating above the ocean in one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland. The house was well appointed, full of everything you could imagine, and perfect for our 15 month old up to to our 18 year old. The rooms were spacious with everyone able to have their own bathrooms and for a family group our size there was plenty of room for us to come together comfortably in several areas of the house but also allowed for smaller areas when needed. The house is just minutes away from the beach and Smuggler's Creek, and the food there is just amazing, not to mention the view.Would highly, highly recommend the Cliff House for anyone traveling with a large party who wants to be near enough to towns and shops but remote enough to feel like you can really "get away".The host was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with, we also worked with Peter Campbell to cater a barbecue one day and a formal 6-course dinner on another night and the house could not be better equipped to accommodate this. Just overall a pleasant, enjoyable, and relaxing retreat and we are already planning a return trip for next summer. Thank you Feargal for a beautiful home and a lovely vacation!

The house was truly amazing -- the location, the views, everything about the house was top notch. We loved the layout and it was perfect for our family. The hosts have clearly thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The kids loved using the sports court and we enjoyed the pizza oven immensely. I can't say enough good things about the Cliff House!

We loved staying in this beautiful home! There was so much space and everything was so well appointed! The views of the water through the huge glass windows were unparalleled. My 8 and 10 year old sons also couldn’t get enough of the game room and sports court! The convenience of Smuggler’s Creek and the Bakery Shack were a huge plus for food. The host also left us a lovely bag filled with local food and drink which was just the best surprise to make us feel welcome! Thank you for an awesome stay while we were visiting family in Donegal!

House is phenomenal. Caretaker is very attentive. Rossnowlagh has everything you need for a great holiday, and the locals are great people. Can walk to the beach, eat and drink and to the nearby general store. Truly a special place.
