My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle. Orcas Island and particularly the Madrona Suite were just what we were looking for.
The studio is spacious for two and very comfortable. The view out the large picture window is wonderful. There is wifi but no TV, which was fine with us. We brought a laptop and did stream a show or two with no issue.
The hosts are very nice people. They provided us with information on the islands and left us to our own devices. If we hadn't been roaming around that much, I believe we could have spent more time conversing with them.
If we didn't live 1600 miles away in Arizona, I could see coming back here for a long weekend a couple of times a year. It will definitely be in our plans should we manage another trip to Orcas in the future.
