The Choudhury Manor Homestay

I stayed at this property for 5 days recently. Located very conveniently close to the public transport and close to all prime areas in the city, we had a great stay. The property has all facilities that you need during your stay and surrounded by greenery and was immaculately clean. The staff is very helpful (Manager Madhab, the cook Uttam and the Didi who does the household cleaning). They also prepared us delicious breakfast and dinner on request. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and with comfortable beds. The hosts are wonderful and very polite. I would book this again for my future trips to Guwahati.

The Wi-fi connectiveity in the room could have been bit better, maybe an extender would help. Otherwise 5G avaialblity is good on all cellular networks.

Had a great time. All facilities are available and the place is close to main roads. On the last day, my train from Guwahati got delayed by 12 hours. Lipi madam, the host, gave me an extended stay for a discount price. She is an accomodating and charismatic host, and Uttam the cook makes a mean chicken curry. Highly recommend this place

One of the best properties in this budget and in such prime location . Extremely safe for women travelling single. Very aesthetic with old world charm .
