Ambrosia - East End Hillside Haven

The location was brilliant.the space was great , facilities great .Had everything we needed. Our only issue was that there was no clothes hoist , only option for drying clothes was dryer , a clothes rack would have been great . Great security . Would stay here again when coming to Adelaide . 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms ,great spot .

Other than no clothes hoist for drying clothes, I would say it needs a good clean . Was overall clean but showers need a good scrub. Maybe some dish clothes also .

The apartment was in a convenient location.

The keys need to be collected from the back of a real estate on the opposite side of town. I arrived at 2:45 pm to collect them and they weren't in the lock box so I walked around to the estate agents and had to speak to the receptionist who located them for me. I requested a second set of keys as I was staying with my daughter and her boyfriend and we were planning on doing different activities. The receptionist called the property manager and advised that someone would message me to let me know when they would be put in the lockbox (meant to be the nest day). When we arrived the cleaner was just leaving - it was past the check in time of 3pm at this stage. The apartment was incredibly hot and the aircon in the main bedroom was not very strong, it took quite a while to cool this room down. The aircon remote for the loungeroom was glitchy and I suspect it needs new batteries. I went to take a shower and found the towel had stains on it. I checked all the other towels and they were all stained - some probably just needed to be bleached but two of them were dirty. The bedheads and couch were stained (and gross). The tables had burn marks on them and one of the dining chairs was in bad shape - the laminate was all cracked. The shower recess in the ensuite also has quite a strong dirty drain smell. I texted this to the property manager and still hadn't had a reply after 24 hours. I messaged again to say I was pretty unimpressed. The property manager called me the morning after that to explain that he'd been sick the previous day and that the extra key had been in the lockbox the entire time (no-one had informed us). He was very apologetic about the towels and explained that they are sent off for laundering, her offered to bring me fresh towels but I had already washed them by this stage and it was not necessary. He said he would arrange for the furniture to be steam cleaned.

Simple, clean, modern apartment with a great view to the Adelaide Hills. The AC works very well and it is nice to have two modern bathrooms in an apartment of this size. Excellent location.

Very basic furniture and decoration - a bare minimum, but fine for a short stay. Attention to detail with apartment servicing was sub-par with annoying omissions (e.g. dishwashing cloths, detergent, conditioner etc).

Great location for Fringe. Modern apartment, great facilities. Two bathrooms definately a great feature.

Apartment was not cleaned very well, I won't go into details, but my daughter who has her own holiday cleaning service picked too many areas that needed attention. We had to pick up the key from a lockbox on the other side of town, and the key wasn't in there! We waited in 34 degree heat for someone to come and give us the key, then proceeded to ask us multiple questions before handing over the key WTF!! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
