La Casa de Quico

The cottage was spotlessly clean, beside a quiet road in a small village, surrounded by spectacular landscapes of towering mountains and deep valleys. There are cafes to explore, beautiful countryside and lots of wildlife, such as butterflies. The young lady who welcomed us, who lives next door, was very friendly and showed us around the property and made us feel very much at home. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and the upstairs bathroom suite and downstairs loo were very modern and clean. The landlady kindly provided bread, milk, butter, fruit juices and a few other things for making breakfast, which was very nice! The village itself has no shop or bar but the town of Boñar, with various shops, at least one supermarket and a petrol station, is only 15 minutes’ drive. Overall, Casa de Quico is a fantastic place to stay! 100% recommended!!

One thing I couldn’t find was a kettle for boiling water to make tea - very important for an Englishman abroad! Other than that, it was perfect.

Hemos estado muy a gusto, la casa es muy cómoda y calentita y dispone de todo lo que puedas necesitar. En la cocina hay mucho menaje y electrodomésticos nuevos. Nacho nos dejó un montón de cosas para desayunar y fue muy atento. Muchas gracias! Han sido dos días perfectos.
