Huge Garden House for Contractors and Families

I booked this property for my colleagues who were doing some work in the area. They informed me that the property was fantastic, it was clean and tidy. There was plenty of cooking utensils/facilities for them to make food etc. The beds were comfy. Ample parking which is a bonus! Maria is a fantastic host and communication was great. I was due to go on annual leave and Maria sent the check in details directly to my colleague which I was extremely grateful for. Thank you for accommodating them, I will definitely keep an eye on your property for the future!

The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a huge, beautiful garden. We especially loved the comfortable double sofas in the living room and the thoughtful attention to detail throughout, which made our stay very comfortable.

Very little! It would have been useful to have additional bins upstairs and perhaps some outdoor umbrellas or shaded areas in the garden, as it gets quite hot in the afternoon.

The property was very clean and had a lovely garden. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding smelled really fresh and clean. I always take my own pillow with me because I can often smell something musty on the pillows. But they were absolutely clean and fresh smelling at this property

There was nothing I didn’t like

Short drive and good walk to Clumber, Sherwood, and short walk to public footpaths for dog walking. Big kitchen and garden area, with plum tree, was good but overlooked by 15 or so houses. Comfortable seating in lounge and good shower. Good parking, secure space for dog.

Owner had "lost" patio key so couldn't open doors from lounge to outside on a very hot week, advised to use the fan available. Upstairs doors rattled constantly with windows open. One tea towel, no washing up sponge, watered down washing up liquid, only two decent dinner knives, even the dining table top was upside down so not flat to eat or play games on! No hoover or cleaning products to stay on top of 5 people's daily living, extra £85 cleaning fee advised a week before stay. Very noisy estate, neighbours arguing, cars racing. 3 people went home early!
