Could do with sun beds on the beach.

Perfect location on the middle of the beach. We were privileged enough to get one of only two second floor rooms. The room was clean, modern, and functional, with a little more than the basics - toiletries, large fluffy towels, excellent AC and a ceiling fan, and the rustic high roof adds a wow factor, as does the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that face the beach. Being above the bar was intially a concern, but all the other guests were mature, quiet and respectful. The staff are lovely, friendly, super friendly and helpful. The food was ok, but similar to all the other joints. The giant bed, with a mattress topper and comfy pillows, means you fall asleep easily, to the backdrop of the waves.

The bathroom floor is a bit tatty, and I'm not sure about all the water on the floor - I feel like it will seep through and eventuially rot the structure. The hot water switch means you get 30 seconds of scream-the-place-down kettle hot water, then a cool shower. When it's warm, you don't reallly want a scolding shower anyway. It's a bity pricey compared to neighbouring shacks, but worth it, In my opinion. The 3% card payment charge is annoying. Parking and finding the place was pain in the arse. While there's free wifi, and A/C, there's Agonda wide power cuts at least a dozen times a day, but that adds to the vibe, and makes you appreciative when it comes back on. Oh, and the whole structure wobbles - so you get the feeling you're on a boat, which is good/ bad depending on your perspective.

De locatie is voortreffelijk. Een fijne, schone kamer prachtig uitkijkend over zee. Personeel is zeer hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Vlakbij alle faciliteiten, winkels, lekkere restaurants. Heerlijk!

Van het restaurant kun je wat mooiers maken denk ik. De ligging is schitterend.
