Helena’s Studio Suite Gerik

De accommodatie is ruim en schoon. De locatie is goed, supermarkten en restaurants in de buurt. Communicatie met de eigenaren is makkelijk en ze reageren snel en behulpzaam.

Had a really pleasant stay at Helena Suite Gerik! The hospitality was great and the host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is super convenient — close to plenty of food places and supermarkets, which made everything so easy. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The homestay itself was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a cute Muji-style concept. It felt comfortable and relaxing, just like a home away from home. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Gerik!

The only downside was there was some drilling noise during the day, probably from nearby renovation works, but it did not affect our stay too much.

The location was good, close to the centre, and private gated parking was good. Decent TV, which swivels.

So the room does look like the photos and its good to see some effort in making the place look nice. However, everything looks worn and it needs redecorated. There was some strange mess in the kitchen cupboard, which had not been cleaned up. There is a large gap under the front door and the netting in the bathroom is full of holes. Main issue was getting the keys. The address listed is at the front of property, wheras the entrance it as the road to the rear. The instructions sent are of no use if you are sitting outside the front as happened to us. Someone did come down to help, but its not what you after a long drive.

You can park your car inside, it's a studio so me and my son had very good bonding, we regroup everyday after Royal Belum to compile pictures and videos while waiting for food arrival .Grab is not active here but Food Panda. I was forced to create Food Panda account.

The aircon remote controlling the main aircon is not working well. We went to the shop changed the battery but still couldn't get it to work properly controlling the temperature and fan fan speed that only allows from remote. Had to use a chair to point to the aircon IR to communicate (takes sometime)
