Paul and Koy were wonderful hosts, with a beautiful place to go with it. The villa is comfortable, clean and more than what I expected, and despite the remote location Paul makes it super easy to take you wherever you want, or even provide scooter rentals. Overall 10/10, and their two dogs make it an 11!

Bamboo Villas are exactly like in the pictures. A gorgeous outlook over the ocean. Perfect location. Villa was clean and had everything you need available. Comfortable bed and pillows. The hosts Paul and Koy are both so lovely. They helped us plan where to go and explained the best things to see in our timeframe. Paul picked us up from our other accommodation and drove us back to the port when we were ready to leave. They assisted with hiring motorbikes and told us the best places to eat. We would highly recommend staying at Bamboo Villas. Hopefully we will return again one day.

- etwas laut gelegen an einer Hauptstraße - direkt am Strand, bei Ebbe jedoch keine gute Möglichkeit zum Schwimmen - um flexibel und unabhängig zu sein, erfordert die Lage sich einen Roller zu mieten. War für uns kein Problem aber könnte ein Problem sein für „Nicht-Roller-Fahrer“ -bei Ankunft an der Villa muss man am Eingangstor klingeln. Einem wird 24/7 geöffnet aber ein eigener Schlüssel für das Tor, würde es einfacher machen.

The place was clean

The property is not beachfront. There is no beach. It is waterfront. it is rocky the water level is low. Not a swimmerable beach nor to lay out on. There was no running water late night into morning. It was turned off. We told the owner we were unhappy with that the first night but it was turned off the next night into morning again. We could not flush the toilet, brush our teeth or wash face. The sofabeds are not pull outs. They provide mattresses on floor. No amenities ie soap or shampoo unless you ask. There is a kitchen but no coffee or tea provided. There are no food options nearby we had to pay 250pesos for food delivery. Local friendly neighborhood but nothing to do there. You need a car or nothing to do there. You are stuck with the owner's pricey tour options. No beach, no restaurant, no supermarket. Remote location. A taxi from Panglao where ferry from Obslo docks is expensive 2500peso, no other transportation options.
