Alex House

We loved our 2 night stay at Alex House. Reading previous reviews, everyone commented on how great the 'location' was, so let me explain why: Alex House is nestled in a small, quiet and local village in the foothills of the mountains, where nature, walking trails and a sense of serenity surround you. It's a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house itself is clean, warm, well maintained and had just about everything in it to make your stay here comfortable. You'll almost certainly need a car, bike (if you're super fit) or some sort of transport to get here, and there is off-road parking in the grounds of the property. There are a couple of local tavernas, where you can get souvlaki or gyros, and a small mini market for essential supplies, but if staying for a little while, it's probably worth bringing food supplies with you. The layout of the house is: one double bedroom, a triple bedroom (although 2 of the beds are wider than a standard single), a well equipped bathroom, and open plan hallway, lounge / dining area and kitchen. There's a lovely, large terrace, with table and chairs which the sun (when out) lights up in the mornings. A walking is possible from the property, along with other natural and interesting sights within easy reach by car (approximately 40 minutes by car to the Meteora monasteries).

Με το που βάλαμε το κλειδί στην πόρτα, μας κέρδισε η ζεστασιά αυτού του σπιτιού! Όλα ήταν πεντακάθαρα και περιποιημένα. Τα πάντα για το πρωινό, καλάθι με κρασιά,επιτραπέζια για τα παιδιά,ακόμα και φωτακι σε κάθε δωμάτιο για την νύχτα. Ξύλα για το τζάκι και καλοριφέρ. Αυλή και bbq. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ Πόπη και Νίκο!

Everything was great: wonderful hosts, good location and comfortable, fully equipped, spotless clean house.

There was nothing we didn't like.
