Villa Stella is located in the prestigious Baia del Riccio, on the coast between Catania and Siracusa. Kissed by the blue Ionian sea, caressed by the sun of Sicily and protected by the 'giant' Mount Etna, this Bay, enjoys a privileged location on the east coast. Important historical, architectural and naturalistic sites, are very close to Baia del Riccio.
Villa Stella offers its guests unique emotions and offers itself as a dream villa for unforgettable holidays.
The landscape, one of the many strengths of the villa, is typically Sicilian, where Mount Etna, the sea and plants combine to give joy, wonder, color, lights to the guests of 'Stella'.
The tranquility and well being are components of the features of the villa, along with the sweet song of birds and the sound of the waves.
The external environment has a large well kept garden with trees, flowers and plants typical of the Mediterranean, several outdoor areas equipped and covered where to have dinner and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, with a lovely pool.
The Mediterranean look of the villa, the proximity to the sea, the landscape, the lights of the sun or stars, offer guests a special atmosphere.
Villa Stella, with all the comforts, accommodates up to 14 people. The large interior is set over two floors. The living area comprises: kitchen, a large, comfortable living-room and three bathrooms. The night area comprises: 7 double bedrooms, carefully detailed, of refined taste and furnished in the style of the villa.

This villa is spectacular. It’s views of the Ionian Sea with Mt. Etna in the background are unrivaled. The pool is saltwater and large. The patio is massive and there must be a dozen places you can’t sit, each offering something special. It has long tables for family dinners both inside and out. The property is totally private and even the clothesline is a lovely brick patio with a blooming bird of paradise and the fragrance of the sea. It is really a magical spot set for making family memories.Giani and Francesca, the caretakers, are lovely and happy to help with anything you need. Francesca’s lasagna is probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Her Tiramisu was up there as well. They are eminently friendly and helpful for anything you need.At this price, this is a great stay. However, a professionally run and managed property, it is not. The host was not particularly responsive and generally seemed uninterested in providing the slightest bit of support. Towels were old and worn and a general cleanliness of the house was lacking. Basic necessities (toilet paper, dish soap) were short until we asked for them. The only other downside is it is a bit far to places you might want to go - there is no nearby market or restaurant and downtown Syracuse is a good 40 minutes away. As others have mentioned, if you can move beyond the quirks of the place, this is a great value stay. You won’t find such a large property in such a spectacular setting at this price anywhere else.

Large villa with a stunning view. The sea is only few meters away, requires to walk down the hill. Wonderful experience! You can hear the waves and Etna looks down on you with majestic look.A/C included but you can use only five machines at the same time. If all the bedrooms are in use and need cooling, you must take turns. We used all of them (didn't know the rule) because it was very hot and this caused the fuses to break down and we lost almost all the electricity.Helpful staff, but they didn't speak English. Very friendly Italian couple who were available if needed.The villa itself was huge. Kitchen was tiny, but we managed still quite well.
