Fig Tree Shepherds Hut was spotlessly clean. The welcoming scones jam and cream were a very nice touch and much appreciated.
There is only one small mirror in the bathroom (known as shaving mirror).

The hat was perfect, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed and the bed is super comfortable. The setting is peaceful and the garden offers views of the nearby fields and a beautiful hill. 10 out of 10 on all fronts.
We were unable to regulate the water temperature shower, and couldn’t get any cold water.

On arrival we were greeted by the host Paul. We arrived at the hut to home made scones, jam, clotted cream and milk which was a lovely surprise. The hut was exceptionally clean and spacious for 2 people. The outside area was also pleasant and parking not a problem. It was so peaceful and private and we loved hearing and seeing the chickens everyday. Location was great we walked down and back to West Bay several times and it's a lovely walk, around 30 minutes. Location also great for getting to places in the car, like Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door which was 45 mins in the car. Plenty of places to eat around the area and lovely coastal walks.

Fantastic week at the cottage, very peaceful, very private, great position, near enough to town, good bus links to weymouth and Lyme regis, easy walk to west bay. If we go back to this part of Dorset again this cottage would be the first place on our list to stay.
