Zero customer service, but broken off the wall sink, water floods entire bathroom, parking $18 extra

A 2-hour early check-in was refused even though the room was available. I was told I would have to pay an additional USD 30, which is very poor service. Instead, we were given a room with a sink that had completely broken off the wall and was only makeshift secured with a metal bar. The staff was aware of this issue, but no one mentioned it voluntarily to any guest. When showering, the water floods the entire bathroom unless you build “walls” out of towels. The view from the window is heavily obstructed by exterior advertising signs. Airplanes land directly over the hotel, and parking costs an additional USD 18. Never again — this hotel is truly not recommendable.

It had a bed. It was quiet, but I’ll never stay there again.

Close to Airport

The room i stayed in the bathroom sink was literally coming off the wall. The pipes was the only thing holding it up. It looks like they’ve tried gluing it to the wall a few other times, obviously not working the bathtub had pubic hair in it black hair. I have blonde hair. Also, in the morning I requested a 620am shuttle to the airport they call me at 6:15 AM. And tell me that the shuttle left I’m gonna have to get the next one I got mad and they said they always leave early and I said then change your times cause if you’re gonna leave at 6:15 put 615am not 6:20 AM.. after arguing the shuttle driver finally turned around and came back to get me funny enough. He got back at the hotel at 6:20 AM so technically left at the time they were originally supposed to.

Perfect Hotel and Great Stay

The workers were very nice and helpful and the service was pretty fast. I had a concert at the Allstate Arena and this hotel couldn't be more perfect, you can walk straight to the arena from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy and the complimentary breakfast was also perfect. Would definitely recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again!

I had to wait about 5 or so minutes after my arrival so that House Keeping could get the room all the way cleaned I guess, but it wasn't that long of a wait and it was worth it.

Not a bad hotel

Airport shuttle. Very near the airport especially I have an early morning flight to LA. The room is big and with comfortable bed. I had a problem with my thigh couldn’t walk properly and the receptionist was very helpful. No wheelchair available so I had to use the luggage cart to go to my room.

Great hotel for one night stay close to the airport

Location was great for one night stay - close to the airport with a free shuttle. Staff was very helpful in providing information about nearby restaurants, as well as menu of restaurants which deliver food to the hotel. They also helped me find a taxi with good rates as I needed to go downtown for work - taxi service was really great.

How unprepared they were. Room key didn't work multiple times (due to the door not key). They worked it out eventually by switching rooms but provided no accommodations for a lot of inconvenience. Overpriced!

Close to everything, room was immaculate, staff was super friendly.

Check in was quick, diesel clerk was nice and courteous. Dining area clean. The room - super clean. Well appointed. LOVED the blanket!!!! Was nice to have an ACTUAL soft comforter not just another flimsy piece of cloth they try to pass off as a blanket. It makes it feel more homey. Shower and bath amenities were great. Nice and clean. I think the only feedback I have for the bathroom is to touch up the paint where it looks like there are water stains.

This is why my whole stay was not very nice

On booking .com it said that there was parking. On other hotels it showed P$ this told me there was a charge for the parking. On this one it just said Parking. I prepaid the hotel on booking.com. When I got to the hotel I was told that I have to pay $20.00. He showed me that on the second page was the fee. I still think I'm owed the fee. I'm also a Wyndham member and they told me that because I booked with boolking I can't get the points.

Nice room -- just go to back of the building

We were pleasantly surprised with the room's refresh and remodel. It felt clean and welcoming.

The front of the building is thrashed, so when someone pulls into the hotel as directed by iMaps, we thought we were totally misled by Booking.com. However, we drove past the front area around the back, and we noticed a certain section of it was remodeled. It was very weird! I would recommend better signage because it is nice in the back, but the entrance is almost enough to make you want to book elsewhere.

Great for transiting through O’Hare.

Location was convenient. Lots of places to eat near it. There was a target that was a five minute walk from the hotel. There was a decent fitness room on the property. The shuttle service was convenient.

The location for a concert at All State arena can't be beat. The staff is soooo nice. I like the 3:00 check in time. The cost for parking isn't too expensive.

Would not book with La Quinta again

The location is the only good thing about this property

La Quinta’s service and courtesy stop the second they are guaranteed to get your money. 6am - the alarm clock in my room went off for no reason. I didn’t ask the hotel to wake me up or touch the clock 8:17am - received an email asking me to “complete checkout online” even though the official checkout time of the hotel is 11am 10:50am - someone knocked on my door for “house cleaning”. Remind you that this is 10 mins before the check out time and they apparently just can’t wait to kick me out The night receptionist, George, didn’t give a damn about people forming a long line waiting to check in. People lined up all the way to the brim of the door yet the receptionist was either incompetent or he didn’t care enough to move faster. There are also all these hidden “hotel policies” that they would shove down your throat when you have made a non-refundable reservation and are standing right at the checkin desk. These terms were not communicated at the time of reservation.

Nice location. Quiet rooms. Mostly a very positive stay. My only issue is that the maid service never came into my room. They did not change the towels, make the bed, or even collect the trash. I saw room room cleaners in the hallways both days, and I intentionally removed the "Do not disturb" sign from my door, thinking they would go in and clean a bit. I was out basically all day each day. No one ever checked on my trash, towels, etc... This was pretty disappointing. As a second concern, the breakfast was pretty lame. White bread and white bagels, the same old same old... Could definitely use some improvement. You have a great location and a nice facility. The customer service - especially room care - needs to help.
