The location is truly perfect—a couple of minute walk from the new bridge and surrounded by great restaurants. And the free parking is a nice touch because parking is tight and once the day trippers arrive the city is packed! It was nice to know we had a parking space waiting when we arrived at 4p. The apartment itself was sooo quiet at night, and had all the basics you’d expect.

I’d have preferred if the kitchen had basics like oil, a few spices, etc. offering a full kitchen without those basics makes it a pain to actually cook. But that’s a minor complaint because it had pots and pans, dishes, etc. And it was clean and wifi worked well.

Nice apartment in a very convenient location to see the main sights in Ronda.

The apartment was advertised as "2 bedroom/2 bathroom" and that's what we expected to find. However the owner had decided to lock the second bathroom and second bedroom; I questioned this when we arrived (by message) and the owner demanded additional payment in order to open these two rooms for our use. I refused to pay this, which led to an evening of messaging where he continually claimed that this was as per the contract (it was not). Booking.com subsequently agreed that this was wrong and has since refunded a significant part of our payment (and I assume they have taken this up with the owner). Throughout this episode the owner's communications were generally unpleasant. With hindsight, this type of communication had actually started before we arrived when I tried to get clarity regarding the parking space (provided in a carpark about 10 minutes walk away) when he was very abrupt and unhelpful. Also, on the day that we arrived I reported that the hairdryer was missing; he/she didn't respond for 48 hours but finally responded by telling us to go out and buy another! This was not helpful as we were leaving the next morning. This experience was in great contrast to all the other properties we stayed at during our tour of southern Spain, where the owners/agents couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this apartment based on the owner's attitude.
