Queen Size bedroom - TheSuites@MrGroupers

We were very happy to spend the week at The Suites at Mr. Grouper which is indeed a boutique hotel. On an island where everyday expenses really add up, it was great to have a comfortable economical stay. The rooms are exactly as described and pictured on their website and kept very clean. If you are a walker, it’s 8 minutes to the beach. You can also walk to the strip which is a very easy mile we walked daily to have breakfast. They offered room service every 3 days where they cleaned the room spotless. Very impressive. They do provide beach towels and will give you additional upon request. The room has all the essentials needed but without a cooktop or way to prepare a dinner which wasn’t a problem for us. If we wanted casual we went to Grace Gourmet and made a salad or purchased from the deli hot bar. Mr Grouper is on premises and we did eat there which was good as well. Additionally, I recommend walking to the end of the street to Bay Cafe for the view and breakfast, Shay Cafe, Sip and Serve and Cocovan for dinner. There is a fish fry in the parking lot next door which is a bit loud until 10pm on Thursdays but we enjoyed that as well and it’s a don’t miss. Not only would I stay here again but I would highly recommend to others. If I could recommend anything it would be a toaster in the room and a couple dish towels.
