We had such a wonderful stay. It was the most peaceful, perfect get away. We went to wineries, hiked, and swam in Cedar Lake! The cabin was in the perfect location so we were close to everything!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, quiet and a comfortable space for 2 people. Check-in & out was easy, the place was well stocked, and the wi-fi was reliable. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, and creamer. The cabin is a duplex. Other cabins are nearby, but it was still peaceful and had a pretty view of tall trees. It was hot out, but the central a/c worked great. There was a table and 2 chairs on the deck, which was nice in the early evening when it cooled down a little. The location is only about 10 minutes to Giant City State Park, Carbondale, and Poplar Camp Beach at Cedar Lake (small charge but looked nice). Steve was very communicative, and we appreciate getting to stay here!

we should count ourselves lucky. we had a stove to cook on, unlike cabin 2, although it was so old and dirty it set the smoke detector off every time we used it .do not expect luxuries. no hair dryer, dish washer, needs an upgrade on pots and pans. otherwise clean and easy to get to.
