I had booked my reservation for the oceanfront property near First Landing State Park over a month in advance. I picked this accommodation due to its convenient location near the park and by the ocean. A week before the reservation was to take place, I receive a message saying that my stay has been relocated to an inland location by the airport, which is a 20 minute drive from the original location. I ask for a discount due to its relocation from the oceanfront to the inland spot, and I’m told that it won’t be possible to have that. I have no choice but to continue with my reservation because it was too late to look for an alternative. I will avoid booking with RoomPicks in the future and will warn friends and family to stay away as they’re not a reliable host.
