About this house rental

Mary Ida's Place is near Old Fort's up and coming downtown, featuring two breweries, a winery, restaurants & shops within a few blocks. Hiking and cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close too. Although tiny, it has a spacious layout inside and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. She's stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread.

The thoughtfulness in every little detail meant so much to us. A small stick of butter in the fridge, homemade banana bread, recommendations for around town all contributed to our wonderful stay. I absolutely recommend this host and property for anyone looking to visit Old Fort, NC. 10/10

My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. This was a wonderful place for our weekend visit. The host was kind and considerate, leaving some homemade bread and eggs and such a sparkling clean cottage! We enjoyed every minute!
