About this house rental
Located just 7 miles from West Yellowstone and the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, this vacation home was built in 2005 and sits on a gentle grassy slope surrounded by forests and mountain views. The Great Room offers sweeping scenery of Lionhead Mountain and the surrounding peaks of the Continental Divide, creating a peaceful and authentic Montana setting.
Important Notice – No Pets
This is a strictly pet-free property.
Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1,000 fine.
Mule Deer Cabin
This two-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home sits on a half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood bordered by Forest Service land. The setting is private and tranquil, with a small, sparse grouping of mostly seasonal homes nearby. The interior features tastefully rustic, western-style furnishings and knotty pine woodwork throughout the walls and ceilings, creating a warm mountain-cabin atmosphere. The spacious Great Room opens to scenic views, and the dining table comfortably seats eight guests.
The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests with:
Two queen beds
Two twin beds
One queen sleeper sofa
Wireless high-speed internet is available—just bring your devices. A loft area upstairs provides extra seating and a second TV.

We are from the south and had never been out of it before. We decided to do something totally different and spend Christmas in Montana this year. Mike was very helpful, generous and kind. He suggested lots of things to do in the area and helped us with an amazing route suggestion for a scenic drive up. Our trip was cut short due to unexpected circumstances, but the days that we did get to enjoy were absolutely wonderful. The cabin provided everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked when it came to seasonings, flour, utensils, pots, pans, etc.. i needed nothing to cook meals for my precious family. The views from the cabin were breathtaking. And the beautiful Gallatin National Park snowmobile trails literally lead right to the driveway. I think that was our favorite part.
