Lodge lovely pathway not so good for us oldies especially when its pouring down .views lovely peaceful.
No bin liner no tea towel no toilet rolls. No dishcloth no hairdryer all things you would just expect especially a bin liner and a toilet roll I know there was a dish washer but I'm not going to use that for a cup. Such a shame as place lovely as next day had to go shopping for toilet rolls 3 miles away.

I love the isolation, the dark skies and the bird life surrounding the lodge.
It was very clean and warm.
Peter, the host, called before our stay, supplied extra info, and messaged during and after our holiday to see how we were.
It could do with a little tlc in places (worn patches, a rather noisy mattress) and a little more fresh cookwae.. Some starter basics, such as a few dishwasher tablets would be helpful. However, don't let this put you off - it's a very good basic lodge, good value for money, and has a friendly, attentive host in Peter.
