Each guest will be provided a rental agreement before the start of your reservation.
Per the NC Vacation Rental Act, payment of money, or taking possession of the property are evidence of your acceptance of the agreement.
Minimum booking age: 25 years old.
If the booking party is under 25, MyTripify reserves the right to collect a *refundable $1000 security deposit along with an ID of guest who is 25 or above. Alternatively the reservation may be cancelled and refunded based on the cancellation policy.
Access to the Home:
Early check-in (1:00 PM) may be requested and will be accommodated if possible.
Cost: $99 + Booking platform fees
Enjoy private access to the entire home, aside from the locked owner’s closet.
Be sure to lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.
Check-in is at 5:00 PM
Check-out is at 11:00 AM
Holdover or Late Checkout will result in a $250 fee, and does not entitle the guest to any extension of the rental period.
Quiet Hours - Beginning 10 PM:
You have the right to quiet enjoyment of the property during your stay, please do not disturb the rights of the neighbours. Only guests on the booking are allowed on premises.
No parties are permitted. Any neighbourhood disturbance will result in a $500 fine and termination of your stay without refund.
Pets
Approved pets must be confirmed prior to check-in, (2 pets maximum). Pending approval, the exact count needs to be added to the reservation prior to check in. Any undisclosed pets will result in a $350 fine. No cats allowed.
Pet owners must disclose the type of pet, breed, name, and age. If pet stays are longer than 1 week, MyTripify may require guests to purchase travel insurance.
Please keep pets off furniture and beds. Removal of pet hair from furniture will result in additional fees up to $300.
Pet owners are to clean up after all waste in the yard and the surrounding area. Any damages done will be charged to the guest.
Parking:
Any parking or driving on the grass is prohibited and will result in a $300 fine. Street parking is allowed.
Smoking:
No smoking whatsoever inside the home.
Smoking is permitted outside only. All remnants must be properly disposed of outside to prevent any smell inside. If the house smells of smoke or remnants are found inside, a smoking fee will be issued of $500.
Damages:
Guests are responsible to immediately report and pay for any damages cause during their stay.
Internet Usage:
We are not responsible for material viewed or downloaded by users from the internet including but not limited to illegally copyrighted material such as movies, music, or other digital media. Doing so will result in a fine of $500 per occurrence. Additionally you agree to Indemnify and hold harmless us for any damages caused by illegal internet use.
Trash should fit into the outside receptacles or be removed disposed of prior to checkout. Any trash that does not fit into the outside receptacles will incur an additional $75 per bag charge.

Our family lived this house! Very convenient to any part of Hickory - especially Lenoir Rhyne College.
All beds were very comfy and there were thoughtful touches throughout the house.
Absolutely would stay there again!

We booked this property with an expectation of being able to host/sleep 12. Even if we put some people on air mattresses to get 12 people in there (5 queen beds), there were only seven plates and a couple of glasses. Not even six chairs at the dining room table, it is not set up for more than five people... Pans for cooking are all very small, as well. We made do because I was local and could bring additional supplies for the group. Would be incredibly disappointed if I had traveled and not had enough plates to eat even one meal or a big enough pan to cook soup in.
Also specifically ask if the hot tub will be ready before you go because it was a green swamp mess for us and took a day for them to empty and clean it and another day to fill it and it was not warm enough to use before we had to leave again. The hot tub and large capacity was the specific reason we rented this over another similar place and we won't make that mistake again. I would rent this again for five people or less if we also don't plan on using the hot tub or pool.
They were responsive to specific requests but definitely were not proactive, which means someone in the group is not having a vacation because they're going to have to manage all the things that aren't already taken care of.

Although we enjoyed our visit to Hickory, the name “Luxury Retreat” was slightly misleading. It is better to be honest and forthcoming with information. The pool and hot tub area was far from luxurious with outdated patio furniture, and a pool that has yet to be cleaned. The bathroom and one bedroom had no curtain or blinds, there were general maintenance items that needed attention, the oven was filthy, and it was located near a very busy four lane road with heavy traffic.
