The Regency Luxury Suite -Gurney Strait Quay

Property itself isn’t the best around but it is not important as the most important is to have a responsible and responsive host who quickly rescue you when you need help no matter what time of the day! That is priceless and the best :) This property is suitable for family stays because of the hospitality of the host. I personally love the location - isn’t everyday a supermarket allows you to push your grocery cart all the way into your apartment. McD and KFC as well as Fatty Loh chicken rice and the whole day huge playground at Lotus are all walking distance and are life savers for my fussy and playful child. There is hot water shower and the water pressure is excellent. The toilet bowl area has no funny smell (for this apartment). I didn’t get to use the stove or washing machine during this short stay but if these are in working condition would be excellent for long stay for sure even for a small family. Security guys are good (and helpful) so I feel safe walking around even with my toddler. The only setback is if you are a light sleeper, the prayers calls from 6am onwards might affect your kid’s sleep and naptime (so this area may not be suitable for babies).

No property is perfect, but the host makes the effort to keep the place clean and workable and is on 24 hours alert to help you (just text, no need to even call). I am very touched by his hospitality and kindness and these qualities make me want to stay on his properties again in this building as I can trust him (he really cares for children :)

Noisy due to aircon inside ventilation room & traffic noise even though we were on the 7th floor! constant building noise above us! only 2 towels for our 6 days stay! washing machine didn’t work, uncomfortable bed, need to be replaced
