Some little tips for you going to the island.
1. Don’t trust the people at the jetty (in Parapat) before taking the ferry to Samosir, they are scammers!! Pay the ferry only at the guy on the boat (15k-25k idr, not 50k like the scammers charged us!).
2. Be careful also trying to changing money at the ferry in Parapat (also scammers) and don’t trust any taxi driver who says can bring you to change money or whatever.
EVERYTHING WAS A SCAM AT THE PARAPAT JETTY
