Cottages LIZA is a very charming homestay run by two generations of wonderful women and named after the mother. The daughters are warm, welcoming, and eager to help with any issue that comes up - all handled in their kitchen “parliament” over a cup of hot tea. The breakfast is inexpensive yet truly delightful, served in their home - hearty, homemade, with excellent jams! The linens are clean and fresh, and the whole place feels incredibly friendly and homey.

It’s worth noting that the cottage is located in the upper part of the village, and getting there might be difficult without a 4x4 vehicle. The bonus, however, is the beautiful view - and, of course, the incredibly sweet family. The rooms are a bit basic and not very well ventilated, as they face an inner corridor. The shower had weak water pressure, and the hot water wasn’t enough for all four members of our family. On the second night, they kindly allowed us to use the shower in the neighboring room, which solved the hot water issue for us.
