The location and outlook were stunning. The facilities were great & the lodge was very comfortable.. we spent lots of time sitting on the veranda watching the world go by. It was quiet and calm. The dogs adored their welcome basket of blankets, treats, toys and poo bags etc, it was a lovely touch.

The location of this property was amazing. 5-7 minutes walk to the train station, 20 minutes walk from the food shopping. The view is amazing, while there we paddle boarded which was lovely. The pub down the road near the train station is lovely. The bed was comfy, nice outdoor space, kitchen was good and easy to use. When we first arrived the owner/staff was amazing and always friendly and welcoming.
Pots and pans need to be a bit bigger. That is my only down bit. Didn’t really affect my stay there.

Chalet was beautiful, new and immaculate. Good facilities. We enjoyed the veranda and covered terrace (great even when raining!). The host provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Very peaceful.
The only way in and out of the complex was via the access road - there seemed to be no way to walk along the broad itself as we seemed to be at a dead end!
