As advertised… nice quiet neighborhood close to west portal station

Overall this was a great price for the money. Had everything you needed and in a safe neighborhood. Check in was easy. Safe, free parking, 20-30 mins to most things you are going to go do in San Fran.
However, I do pride myself on being very honest in my reviews, so there are a few negative things worth pointing out.
The description said private patio, there was a nice patio for chilling. However, it was shared with the owner and the one evening she was out there for a couple hours when I had wanted to go out there, so that was a bummer.
Next was the washer and dryer. It is shared with the owner, which is fine, but 3 different times when I went to use it there was laundry in it.
The last is that this is a lower unit of a duplex, which was very clearly stated in the description so I expected some noise but it was alot.
Those are not major things though. And I would recommend this place to anyone that doesn't want to be in a small hotel room

The lower level unit is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy street parking.You do have to take about 20 small steps down. This may be an inconvenience if you have mobility issues. We felt instantly comfortable & at home with the space. It's very clean & well equipped.
