Enjoy the peace and tranquility Rideau Lakes area has to offer, whilst less than 10 minutes away from all the amenities Perth has to offer. Explore heritage Perth, Ontario. Dine, unwind, and celebrate the festivals. From outdoor strolls through parks to local shops and distilleries, your year-round adventure awaits. Located just 1 hour outside of Ottawa and 3.5 hours from Toronto.

You head to a restaurant for lunch then stroll through the historic buildings as you shop for the season.
Stop by a café for a seasonal drink, then visit a salon or a spa for the remainder of the afternoon.
The next day, you have an early morning snowshoe at Perth Wildlife Reserve or a cross-country ski at Murphy's Point.
You visit outdoor attractions, then warm up on a cozy winter patio with blankets or an outdoor fireplace.
Head back to the Sunset Lakehouse to share a hot meal with family and friends in the full kitchen, dine in while overlooking the lake and take in the breath-taking sunset.

We are extremely thankful for letting us stay in your lovely, spacious and tastefully furnished house. We had a wonderful time. The view is breathtaking and the cottage had literally ever we need to have an amazing and safe vacation.

We spent two lovely days and nights at the Sunset Lakehouse Retreat enjoying everything the home has to offer... swimming and kayaking in the lake, playing pool in the game room and watching the sunset from the deck. Everything was just as described; clean, comfortable and inviting. And the view cannot be beat! Candice is a very responsive host, answering all our questions in a timely manner. We hope to return soon!

We just finished our stay, 3 couples. Loved the home, beds etc very comfortable, lovely view from the dock and upper deck. The water is warm, clear and the swimming is great. Very close to Perth for shopping and dining.
We will definitely return.
