Escape to the Kentucky Rockies in this newly built tiny cabin near the Red River Gorge area. `Throw`n Shade at the Red’ comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests, boasts perfect seclusion and sits within 30 minutes of Natural Bridge State Park. You can find yourself relaxing on the beautiful deck while taking in all that nature has to offer or enjoying a cozy fire after a strenuous day of adventuring. This cabin is exactly what your small group getaway needs when searching for an affordable getaway.
- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee pot, microwave, 2 burner electric cooktop), WiFi, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, fire pit, RokuTV, a sizable deck w/ outdoor furniture, and more!
- Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed | Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed | Living Room - 2 Single Sleeper Sofas
- One full bathroom
- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.) You will also need to bring your own firewood and charcoal for the grill. Please purchase firewood locally.
- Please note that a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended as this cabin sits atop a gravel hill. Property is gated. Trailers prohibited.
- Quiet location! 30 - 45 minute drive to zip lines, horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, shopping, restaurants, and much more.

It was a wonderful little cabin. Just enough space for my husband and i. It was quiet and peaceful. Close to things, we wanted to do and a great little place to rest and unwind.

I was looking for a secluded cabin with a hot tub. This checked both those boxes. It’s down a low traffic country road. As the other reviews mention the driveway is terrible, you have to have a 4WD SUV. Very deep ruts and steep. I wouldn’t try this in the winter. The outlet under the tv did not work. One of the beds isn’t very comfortable and the frame is very squeaky. There are very nice blackout shades in each bedroom.

The cabin was overall a nice place to stay. I would not recommend over 4 people. There isn't alot of room for anything. It was clean. The worst part of this stay was the driveway. Instead of saying "4-wheel drive recommended" it should say "4WD required." The driveway in the picture looks nothing like it does in person. Its not so much steep as it is rutted out. It took 3 tries the first night to get up there. Should update the pics to show how the driveway actually is.
