You'll have complete and uninterrupted/unshared access to the walk-out BASEMENT apartment. It has its own separate entrance, fire pit area, full bath and kitchen. In advance request is required to use the fire pit area with a maximum of 6 people at a time.

First thing first - the hosts of this property are fantastic. So easy to work with and very accommodating. Ran into the husband a few times and he was so kind and easy going. That really made the stay so great for us.The house overall is very nice. It’s a renovated basement with lots of modern finishes. There are a few quirks about it like the kitchen sink is backwards (turn it to hot and cold comes out… haha) and the bathroom faucet is wobbly. The washer dryer combo was a bit cumbersome to use but if you don’t need laundry and don’t have a family of 6 like we do, that is minor. Overall, this place was a great home base for our DC trip. The neighborhood is quiet and street parking was no trouble at all.

Nice and very clean. The host is a great communicator. Being in the basement this VRBO can feel a bit claustrophobic esp with infants or toddlers. Not ideal with toddlers as they may trip due to levels in between rooms. Being in the basement, the cellular service can be dicey so be sure to get the wifi access info from the host, which we got as soon as I asked. I also got extra time to checkout! However, the bathroom faucet is loose, shower door allows water to flow out and refrigerator doesn't work properly..so with little kids it can be an issue and the common area had dog poop that wasn't picked up, which can be unhygienic if you have little ones who may wanna run around in the open space (the common backyard area). Works for first time DC visitors who only need a place to sleep near the capitol and don't have little kids.
