Easy check-in, the instructions for the stay were easy to understand and follow.We love the charm of an older house, but the bathroom can use updating to be safer: ie., countertop with a sink for toilettries, love the clawfoot tub, but for guests there should be a walk-in shower instead.

This apartment was comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located (walking distance) to all of the Akron sights and attractions we wanted to hit. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

I recently stayed at this property during a road trip with my dogs. During our stay, we found the apartment to be quite basic in terms of kitchen supplies, which made cooking a bit challenging due to the limited utensils and cookware available. Additionally, the linens could have been a bit fresher to ensure maximum comfort. The apartment also has a steep staircase, which might be a bit challenging for some guests. Overall, it’s a good option, but there are a few areas that could be improved for future guests.

I traveled alone and it's the perfect size for one person (or a couple/small family). easy check in, stairs are a factor of course. We had a lovely stay. The property is charming, in a fantastic neighborhood, and very comfortable. The Mustard Seed Cafe, 2 blocks away, has the best breakfasts! It would be helpful, however, to know about accessibility issues. My husband is recovering from knee surgery, and we found out after the fact that the apartment was on the second floor and the bathroom tub/shower was a little precarious for him. But if you are young and/or fit, no worries - it's a really nice place overall!!

We had plans in Cuyahoga National Park and Lake Eerie, and this was a super convenient base to stay! This is a cute and cozy place to stay. With a great location to boot. There are a few issues that might bother some people more than others. But, overall I'm pretty happy with my time here! Here is a more detailed breakdown, for those that want to know as much as possible: Comfort: - Sleeping: 7/10, memory foam on queen sized bed, decent blankets. - Bathing: 5/10, poor showering experience but you can take a bath. - Living Room: 7/10, small TV with selection of DVDs plus streaming options. Several fairly comfortable seats available. Nice To Haves: - Kitchen / Appliances: 10/10, nice sized fridge, stove, microwave, and a solid table - Access To Fan(s): YES Location: - Ease Of Parking: 8/10, easy street parking - Convienence: 10/10, easy to find and in a great position - Quietness: 10/10, respectful and quiet neighbors - Value: 10/10, fantastic price Overall, you might want to know that the shower has poor water pressure and is relatively small and uncomfortable. Specifically, the shower curtains surround the shower and will hug your body if you are not on the smaller side. So, if you don't like cold shower curtains sticking to you while you shower, you might want to opt for a bath instead. The queen sized bed seems to have a memory foam topper (expect it to sleep warm). The sheets / blankets are decently soft and plentiful. If you grab a fan (which there was one provided for us) then you'll probably get through the night.

The place was great over all. There was a slight urine smell but there sprayed a little fabreeze and it seemed to get rid of it. My dogs kept sniffing a spot in the rug so if I had to guess just needs new rug. However, Very close to the square with lots of food and drink options as well as shopping only 2 blocks away! would for sure stay here again and plan to when coming back through akron

It was quiet and comfortable to stay here! I love the historic feel and character to this apartment. Communication was excellent and no one talked to me unless I needed anything so I was able to relax! The only thing to worry about was parking. When I went to leave after my stay, I found a handwritten note on my car's windshield saying I had blocked someone's driveway and they would have my car towed if I stay there again. A neighbor was glaring at me as she walked by when she saw it was my car. I thought I had been careful not to block a driveway so I was confused so just be careful where you park here! Other than that, I loved my stay here!
