About this apartment rental

Suite with glass windows throughout and a fantastic corner balcony, offering a beautiful view of the Pichincha volcano and the north-central part of the city. Located in one of the best areas in Quito, near the historic center, and available for business and leisure stays in the city.

Apartment with a corner balcony, located diagonally across from the SWISS HOTEL, in one of the best areas of Quito, offering a beautiful view of the Pichincha volcano and the north-central part of the city, near Quito’s Historic Center, suitable for both business and leisure travelers visiting the city.

If you’d like to do some sightseeing, you’re in the heart of the city, where it’ll be very easy to get to the places you want to visit. Plus, there are many travel agencies nearby that can help you.

If you’re looking for some fun, you’re less than a 5-minute drive from Plaza Foch, the best nightlife spot in Quito, with restaurants and entertainment venues to suit all tastes.

Guests are welcome to use all the spaces and amenities in the apartment.

The building has a communal laundry room.

There is a gym in the building; a fee applies for its use.

Cleaning service (OPTIONAL):
Cost: $ 20 dollars per day.

If you arrive outside of my working hours, I’ll welcome you personally; otherwise, someone else will be there to hand over the apartment and explain how everything works.

What makes this apartment special—besides its prime location and view of the city of Quito—is that it’s in a safe neighborhood, close to business centers, nightlife spots, and travel agencies, giving you plenty of options for things to do in the city.

Since the apartment is in a central part of the city, you have plenty of transportation options.

PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE APARTMENT: $30

TAXI:
If you’re arriving from the airport, you can take a taxi, which will cost between $25 and $35 to the building where the apartment is located (this is recommended if you want to ensure your safety, save time, or if there are two or more of you).

AEROSERVICIOS:
Another more economical way to get there is by using the airport’s “AEROSERVICIOS” shuttle service, which takes you into the city for $8 per person. From where it drops you off, you can take a taxi to the building where the apartment is located, which will cost about $5 or $6. Here’s the link:

PUBLIC BUS:
The cheapest way to get from the airport to the apartment is by taking the public buses that stop outside the airport; they cost less than $2 (note: they don’t run at night), these buses drop you off in the city at the “ECOVÍA” bus terminal, where you can take one of these buses for 25 cents and get off at the stop on Cristóbal Colón Street (it’s best to ask at the Colón stop), that bus drops you off on one of the streets near the building; from there, if you wish, you can take a taxi—which will cost less than $2—to 12 de Octubre Avenue (note: it’s an uphill avenue), or if you don’t have a lot of luggage, you can walk up at a leisurely pace (if you arrive at night or in the early morning, I recommend taking a taxi)

RENTAL CAR:
If you’re renting a car at the airport, use the apartment’s location and address as a reference so you can find your way there.
The building where the apartment is located has one parking space. Travel time from the airport to the city varies depending on your arrival time; during the day, there are many traffic jams, so it may take between 30 minutes and over an hour. At night and in the early morning, the trip is much faster.
When entering the city, take the Guayasamin Tunnel by following the road from the Airport through Tumbaco and Cumbaya to Quito, without veering off in any direction. As a reference point to know you’re on the right track, there’s a toll booth just before the tunnel (Fee: 0.40 cents).
After exiting the tunnel, you’ll reach a roundabout (Plaza Argentina); drive around it, and you’ll come to Diego de Almagro Avenue.
Follow Diego de Almagro Avenue until you reach Francisco de Orellana Avenue.
Turn left onto Avenida Francisco de Orell
