About this house rental
This quiet neighborhood is a great place to relax and enjoy your stay. It has a private entrance, privacy fenced in shared backyard. The left side of the backyard is shared with an RV separate from the house. Guests have plenty of space in the back to enjoy. There is always plenty of parking right in front of the house for convenience. Downtown Portsmouth and Norfolk are within 7 miles away. The Virginia Beach oceanfront is only 35 minutes away. Portsmouth city park is 5 minutes away and has a boat ramp for those who are interested in any water activities. We welcome long term stay for military families, corporate stay and family getaway.

The house has all the essentials you need to make you feel at home. This house comfortably sleeps 6 guest. Home was clean and looked just as pictured on the website. We were provided with a key, as the keypad did not work, which was fine but one more thing to keep track of. I would recommend bringing supplies you may need, extra trash bags, dishwasher pods, paper towels etc. as there was only one of each provided. (Again fine, but was under the impression it would be provided). They do have w trailer that they rent out or the owner stays in, not sure but the last night we were there, there were people in the trailer, this was not something we were made aware of. Overall the house was good for what we needed! Owner was quick to respond while we were there.

We’ve stayed at many homes and this one was not up to our standards. We couldn’t park in the driveway because there was an RV parked in the back that was rented out at the last minute. Which was NOT mentioned at all in the booking. The yard had not been mowed for a very long time and the patio furniture outside was filthy and muddy. There were no tvs or fans in bedrooms. The neighborhood was shady as well. Glad we only had to stay for 2 nights.
