About this cottage rental
Sunflower Cottage sleeps four, with one double room and one twin room. Upstairs bathroom with shower and an additional downstairs WC. Cosy sitting room and dining room with door which opens onto a very quiet, access only, street. It has a small but well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, cooker, hob and fridge freezer. Internal door from kitchen gives access to communal laundry facilities and access to covered dining terrace. with views across the gardens.
Gites Rue Du Chateau cottages are situated in a little haven of tranquillity, where you will be able to relax and feel at one with nature. The two and a half acres of walled garden and woodland offer plenty of space and includes a beautiful clear stream, running through an old lavoir, a lovely aboveground pool, 5m diameter, 1.2m deep. You will also have access to a mini Boules area, BBQ, hammocks, outside kitchen with inside and outside dining space and cosy fire pit area. There is plenty of space for relaxation and traditional garden games.
Every day you can wake up to the sound of birdsong, running water and the local church bells. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of bakeries, shops and a local market, you can choose to stay on site or venture out and take part in one of the many local activities on offer, including, canoeing, cycle paths, adventure parks, local lake activities or visit a Chateau and have a long lazy lunch.
The site is gated with secure parking.

Hosts Anna & Ian live on site to ensure a warm and friendly welcome and would be available should you need anything during your stay. You will occasionally see us maintaining the pool and grounds, entering and leaving the site via a shared driveway.
