Villa Filokalia With Exceptional View - Happy Rentals

The views are truly exceptional - we knew that as we have been to this area many times before. The pool area is also beautiful and comfortable. Welcoming fruit and a bottle of wine. The house was mostly clean and well provisioned.

The gardener said he would be back halfway through to clean the pool - he never turned up and as there is no drainage channel around the pool the number of dead insects in the pool by the end of the 5 days genuinely numbered in excess of 500 - we did search and found a net which we used to get some off the top of the water but it was no good for getting the hundreds that had died and sunk to the bottom. The property's driveway was ok for us but honestly if you have an estate car or a big SUV, it will be really tight to almost unmanageable (it is also extremely steep in two places and the first part is unmade). The beds are very hard - for me this wasn't a problem but my husband really struggled with it. The house could do with a kettle.
