    We had an amazing stay at the Sea Mood Hotel, run by a wonderful couple. The views from our room were beautiful, and the atmosphere was incredibly serene. One of our favourite moments was watching herons flying over the sea from our window — it made the whole experience feel especially peaceful. The room itself was very thoughtfully designed and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful — assisting us with planning our days, ordering taxis, and making our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The town was only a short 15-minute taxi ride away and very affordable, so getting around felt easy and convenient. The starting point for the famous Mireuksan hike was also just a 9-minute drive away. We would 100% come back!

Warm Hospitality: The couple who manages Tongyeong Badauigibunpulbilla goes above and beyond to create a unique stay. From running the convenience store on the first floor to their brother’s quaint café next door, they’ve curated a delightful ecosystem for travelers. Culinary Delights: The husband’s offer to cook us a BBQ was a highlight. Nothing beats enjoying a home-cooked meal while traveling. And let’s not forget the daily local Korean breakfast prepared by the wife – a delicious way to start each day! Thoughtful Amenities: The pension is exceptionally clean and well-equipped for couples or families. The attention to detail extends to the well-thought-out toilet amenities – a small touch that makes a big difference. Vinyl Player: What truly adds to the homely feel is the vinyl player in each room. Imagine waking up to personalized records playing in the morning – it’s a nostalgic touch that warms the heart. Scenic Views: The second-floor view overlooking the serene lake is simply calming. It’s a peaceful retreat where you can unwind and soak in the beauty of nature. Convenient Location: Parking right in front of the pension makes life easy, and the short drive to the town center ensures you’re never far from Tongyeong’s attractions. Personalised Itinerary: The couple’s offer to plan our itinerary was a game-changer. Their recommendations for local food and tourist spots were spot-on. We explored Tongyeong like insiders! In summary, if you want to fully immerse yourself in a smaller city and experience authentic Korean hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend Tongyeong Badauigibunpulbilla. It’s a refreshing departure from the typical 5-star hotel – a place where memories are made.
