Boutique Apartment in 1905 Victorian Home - Plaza - Westport

Super cute apartment. Very well appointed and nicely decorated. Looked just like the pictures. We stayed on the second floor apartment that was accessed by a narrow inner stairwell which was not a problem for our family. The futon in one of the bedrooms folds down to make a longer bed. There were plenty of linens tucked away in the various closets. The drive in was a little sketchy because as in any big city there are always not so nice parts of town. But once we got to the booking, we saw that it was located in a very nice area with families walking their dogs at all times of the day and evening. The internet was down briefly and the host reached out to me before I even had a chance to notify her. She let us know how to reset it and within 5 minutes it was up and running again. We even left one of our baby’s security blankets and she notified us and set it aside for us to come back and pick up. She was very responsive, helpful and sweet! If we ever visit KC again I hope to stay there again. Highly recommend!

All the little touches in this apartment gives it a great vibe and we really enjoyed spending time there, not just sleeping there. Located in a good neighborhood with easy parking. The amenities provided were on point, beds comfortable, everything is clean and the kitchen is well stocked.

It's in a historic home offering tons of boho charm, but it also means the staircases are narrow and the walls are relatively thin. If hearing some laughter echoing from another unit or some thumps from loud walkers above you really sticks in your craw, then this may not be the place for you.

The location was excellent and in a quiet neighbourhood. Communication was great from the owner. The apartment was spotless and had a great vibe to it, was comfortable and homey.

While we appreciated that the property is a period property, the creaks in the flooring, stairs and the doors was to be considered if up late/early for others that were staying elsewhere in the other apartments within the property, and similarly we could hear the person upstairs walking around. Not a dealbreaker but something to be mindful of.

The house is clean and tidy, with a friendly host who makes you feel welcome. It’s quiet and comfortable, and the facilities meet all expectations.
