    Amara Beach Resort is in an excellent location thou a scooter is recommended to do exploring on your own. Staff are excellent, food great! but unfortunately our room was directly beside a noisy part of a nightclub right next door. Fortunately, it was worse on our first night and ok on the others!

    This is a difficult one to review. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed was really comfortable. The beach was nice. 7/ 11 right next door. Good hot water. The restaurant was not so good. We went for dinner one night and after 2 hours of waiting we cancelled our meal. At breakfast we had to keep asking staff for basic things, plates, cups, cutlery. I am always happy to get up and get my own but it was not available. It was never busy when we were there. The staff were always lovely, they just need better training in customer service and organisation. Even the beach lounges and bean bags were being set up quite late at 9 30. People were waiting for them to be put out. The hotel next door had all theirs set up by 7am. Yes it was a comfortable hotel in a nice spot but they need to sort out their restaurant and bar.
