    Great stay at Montana Rest — comfortable room, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout, and the property made for an excellent base while traveling in the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, pleasant lodging in Anuradhapura!

    From check in to check out staff have been exceptional . Friendly and helpful . On check in we were presented with welcome drinks . Met the chef and arranged dinner . Dinner was that good we ate every night . Room was spacious with kettle and fridge . Good working air con and shower . Towels and water provided. Everything was excellent , only issue we had was the WiFi is not great , but we have found this across Sri Lanka .

    I booked a budget room and got a really horrible room, the worst in the hotel. (The hotel was almost empty). Dirty walls, crazy loud aircon, ants and later even cockroaches in the bathroom. They said they have to ask someone, if I can move to other room, even though there were many rooms available, so I had to spend one night in this horrible room. The next day I asked again and got a similar room on the first floor, which was clean and nice. I could rent a scooter here. This place is nice and quiet, good breakfast, but because of my first night it's a 50/50 experience.
