The location! It felt safe to walk on the beach early in the morning or by night. The room with this amazing view on the beach! The so well kept plants and flowers all around the property😍 The very good nternet access. The pool area. The good value for money. The respectful staff. The direct access to the beach: just a few steps from your room!

Location is great, so close to pool and beach. I loved that the room had a larger fridge than usual for a hotel room with cooking utensils and burners, would be very easy to cook in the room with nearby grocery stores, makes it very affordable for longer stays. Liked the dry rack on the balcony, so convenient and helpful. Huge water jug also so useful.
The pool was deep (6 1/2 feet) with no shallow end, I didn't like this with kids. Also, an outside shower coming off the beach would be a nice addition. I don't actually swim on this beach in the afternoon due to all the kite surfers, but 5 minutes away is one of my favorite beaches in the DR for swimming, plus delicious restaurants and a great atmosphere.
