Adjacent to the living space is the bedroom with a comfy four-poster bed. Linen is provided and a ceiling fan cools the room when required. Wide and tall windows flood the dining area with natural light and the 4-seater dining table offers a formal dining space.
A quirky pocket door leads to a refreshing full bathroom with a shower and toilet. The home boasts of a fully equipped kitchen with all essential appliances and utensils. The mint kitchen also provides complimentary condiments.
The cottage exterior features a swimming pool and a fire-pit which are available for guests’ use. This peaceful retreat conformably sleeps four.

During periods of extreme temperatures, please keep in mind that the house was built in the 1830s. While it does have central heating and air, we kindly ask for your understanding that indoor temperatures may be slightly uncomfortable at times due to the home’s historic construction.

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY ★
Bring your furry friends along for an exciting vacation. Please leash pets and clean up after them when outdoors to be mindful of other guests.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking inside the home is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of smoking will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.
★ NO PARTIES / EVENTS ★
We kindly ask that you treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests. Please respect quiet hours after 9:00 PM.
★ EARLY CHECK-INS / LATE CHECK-OUTS ★
Subject to availability, early check-ins and late check-outs may be accommodated at $20 per hour (one-hour minimum). Please reach out as soon as possible for availability.
★ SELF CHECK-IN ★
Guests will check in using a smart lock.
★ POOL ★
The pool is seasonal and may be closed at certain times of the year. It is fenced and located in the backyard. Pool access is only guaranteed June–September due to water temperatures. The pool is 4 feet deep throughout—no diving permitted. Swim at your own risk; no lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be accompanied at all times.

This was a really cute and fun property, but there were a few small things lacking. There were no baking pans, only one wash cloth, no hand soap, and the coffee filters were too shallow (and therefore, let coffee grounds into the pot)—all very small things that weren’t worth getting the manager to fix for a 2 night stay, but all a bit annoying. I didn’t realize that the living room/bedroom were the same room, which may have been my oversight. It meant that we had to put the baby’s pack and play in the closet so as not to wake her when we were still awake. Fun for two nights, but I’d consider another property with a baby in the future!

Stayed here for SOS at Maxwell. Cozy combined living/dining/bedroom with separate kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely responsive for the minor maintenance items that came up over our extended stay. The laundry washer-dryer combo was a bit under-powered for the longer stay, but was workable. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the bed was comfortable. My wife, baby, and both dogs enjoyed the days here and appreciated all the outdoor space on the property. The owners even invited us to the multi-property Christmas party they were holding near the end of our stay which we couldn't attend due to previous plans, but shows how friendly and kind the hosts/maintenance team are here. Highly recommend for small families on travel to the Montgomery/Prattville area looking for a quiet stay.
