This quaint former boat-builder’s workshop blends old-world character with modern comforts, offering a peaceful escape just a short stroll from the village, beach, and marinas.
Inside, the cosy living area welcomes you with cathedral ceilings, a smart TV, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and a wood heater for cooler evenings. The quaint kitchenette includes a microwave, double electric hotplates, tea and coffee facilities, and a small fridge. The bedroom features a queen bed, and the adjacent ensuite offers both a shower and a double spa bath.
Outside, a private verandah overlooks manicured gardens, and the setting invites you to unwind in nature. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.

Entrance signage should be clearer. The sign indicating entrance further up the road with arrow is almost unreadable.

My pet Frankie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clovelly Cottage. The accommodation was well thought out and appointed. VERY comfortable and welcoming.
The gardens are absolutely stunning and we were invited to enjoy the “Garden House” to enjoy the views without the winter chill. What a joy.

We loved our stay at Clovelly Cottage and the gardens are just magnificent.
One reason we booked it was that it had the Coonara fire.
No wood was supplied even though they advertise it .
No wood was available in Metung so we had to drive back to the highway and luckily we were able to get a bag at Swan Reach.
