We liked the home, it had everything we needed. We loved having the pool table to play on, that was a hit! The backyard was clean and large, with lots of room! We had the privacy that we needed!

We loved the neighborhood and the location - within 30-40 minutes of most Chicago attractions and city, quiet and close to abundant green space. The door is tricky to open/close, but owner/manager assures that it is soon to be replaced. Clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and floors. (Even though pet-friendly, there was no visible pet hair.) Other cleaning was lacking. (Someone had apparently recently cooked bacon on the cooktop - spatters of grease all over stove and area. Shiny surfaces were all dusty and/or smeared.) Overall loved the space and location.

Overall a great experience! My husband, 2 teen children, adult son elderly mother stayed at this home for 9 days over Christmas. The home is beautiful, in an amazing location in the West Suburbs, close to the Forest Preserve. A very unique area! The home is cute and has a lot of charm and character! The communication with the host was very prompt. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. The kids loved the backyard for playing in the snow and the pool table. A couple of things travelers looking into this property need to know:- The home is most appropriate for a couple with 2-3 kids or friends that would be ok sleeping in same room. As of today (12/30), the listing says there is a dbl futon, other pages say sofa bed, 2 queen beds a twin bed. We booked the listing based on this arrangement. Please note, *there is no double futon/sofa bed.* There is a couch with a wider chaise in the living room but it is definitely not a sofa bed. My husband I instead slept on an air mattress for 9 nights in the kitchen/pool table area. I would say this sleeps 2 in one BR, and 3 in another that all have to be comfortable sleeping in the same space. We would absolutely not have booked this property if we had known about this. - No access to garage or upstairs - no issue, just FYI.- No washer and dryer, and we had to ration towels between 6 ppl for 9 days. So bring extra!Again overall a great experience, great home and area! Definitely recommend!
