Experience a luxury mountain getaway at Mountain Air Cabin, a spacious retreat that comfortably accommodates up to 17 guests across six sleeping areas. Conveniently located between Boone and Banner Elk just off Highway 105, this private wooded escape is only fifteen minutes from shopping, hiking, rafting, fishing, zip lines, skiing, and more. With modern mountain décor, a game-filled recreation room, hot tub, fire pit, and family-friendly amenities, Mountain Air Cabin is perfect for large family gatherings, group vacations, and special celebrations.
The main floor features soaring wood interiors, a gas log fireplace, comfortable furnishings, and a spacious dining area designed for gathering together. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for hosting holidays and group meals with everything needed for large-group cooking and dining.
Mountain Air Cabin offers six sleeping areas designed to comfortably accommodate up to 17 guests. The main level includes a king primary suite with a private ensuite bathroom, a second king bedroom, and a shared full bathroom. Upstairs are two additional king bedrooms, a bunk room with a twin-over-double bunk bed, and the Kids Kamp room featuring two double-over-twin bunk beds. Kids will love the Kids Kamp room, complete with a TV, teepee tent, starfield projector, library, and toys. A full bathroom and half bath are also located upstairs.
The lower-level recreation room offers a TV, pool table, shuffleboard, air hockey, arcade games, and ping pong. Outside, enjoy a spacious deck with a fire table, hot tub, gas grill, screened dining porch, hammock, and swinging egg chair. The wooded backyard includes a mini disc golf practice course, Kids Kamp Lookout playhouse, and a fire pit with Adirondack seating.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, Smart TVs with streaming and live TV, plus family-friendly items such as a high chair and pack-and-play. Exterior security cameras monitor the front porch and driveway. Pets are not permitted. Parking is available for up to five vehicles. AWD/4WD and tire chains are recommended during winter months.

The cabin has a lot of things for kids to do! We had 4 families so the layout was perfect! We had 10 kids with us - ages ranging 2 yr to 14 yr - and they all really enjoyed the games in the basement and the hot tub! We didn’t utilize the porches because it was so cold outside, but we did build a fire in the fire pit one night and everyone really enjoyed that. The beds all have memory foam mattresses, which we all loved!
