We had a wonderful time overall at The Charter. It was the perfect spot for our family (we have two young daughters), and Beaver Creek as a resort was also great.
The check-in and check-out processes provided a little bit of frustration (more on that shortly), but those blemishes were otherwise outshined by the quality and convenience of the Charter. Our unit was comfortable and cozy, the amenities at the Charter were top notch, including the spa and the pools/hot tubs, which we used regularly throughout our stay.
At check-in. we were told our room wouldn't be ready until 5PM (even though VRBO had listed our check-in time at 4PM). This was problematic as we had arrived anticipating a 4PM check-in and had to find a way to kill an extra hour with two small children after a long day of travel. After some hard work by one of The Charter's employees, we were able to get in quickly thereafter.
At check out, the building's maintenance staff hassled us to get out before our check-out time.
