About this house rental
Located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, this house is perfect as a desert getaway for small groups, couples or a family. Situated on half an acre of desert land, this updated Midcentury 2BD/1BA home is perfect for exploring the National Park, stargazing, lounging in hammocks and hanging by the fire pit. The space
-Just a few miles north of JTNP, the mountains can be seen from the front door and the backyard.
-Less than a 5 minute drive to the Visitor Center and less than a 10 minute drive to the North entrance of the park (the less crowded one). 2 minute drive to downtown 29 Palms and 20 minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree.
Living room- cozy seating, smart TV with all streaming apps downloaded ready for your sign-in. Cell phone chargers provided. Telescope to enjoy in the backyard.
Kitchen- coffee, tea, olive oil, pots and pans, fully stocked dishware, microwave, toaster oven, blender.
Bathroom- tub and shower, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer.
Bedrooms- Queen size memory foam mattress in each room + 2 stackable single foam mattresses.
Backyard- hammocks, fire pit, outdoor seating area with table, lots of wildlife watching.
Guest access
Laundry- We offer an on-site washer and dryer. They are in the garage, and can be accessed anytime. (We offer laundry detergent if you don't have, but we ask that you bring your own)
Our driveway can fit 3-4 cars which should be plenty of space. If an additional spot is needed, there is street parking available in front of the house.

The house is located less than a mile from downtown Twentynine Palms.

My husband, toddler, and I stayed here during a trip to Joshua Tree NP. It was the perfect jumping off point for exploring the park and local area. We loved the decor of the house, and the backyard was perfect for relaxing in the hammocks or by the fire. If we’re ever in the area, we’d definitely stay here again!

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay if you're visiting Joshua Tree! The house is perfectly cozy and in a great location relative to the park entrance and the major things to do in 29 Palms.
Beds were very comfortable. The backyard is so nice. It was cold and rainy during our stay so we didn't get to enjoy it fully, but I bet it's great when it's warmer. Check in was a breeze and Michelle and Carey were super responsive. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!
