It’s not easy driving up the windy mountain road to Betty and Howard’s place. Yet once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful. The neighborhood is terrific for walking. Most mornings at least a couple people from our group were outside early to watch the sun rise over the mountains. And Howard and Betty are the best! They welcomed us in person when we arrived, showed us around the home, which is exactly what you'd imagine a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains to look like. They answered our questions and always made sure we had everything we need. These two people obviously care about their guests and are good at communicating with them.I recommend their place highly!

We had a wonderful stay in the fabulous mountain home. We especially enjoyed the covered front porch with comfortable seating and gas grill. We appreciated the two bathrooms and the washer / dryer which made it so convenient to do laundry. The first floor master bedroom had a wicker vanity with a comfortable chair and make up mirror which made it so easy to get ready for the day. It’s a peaceful property with absolutely wonderful views! Our hosts Betty and Howard were just a text or phone call away if we needed anything at all. They also live next to the rental property. Don’t hesitate to book this property for a peaceful relaxing stay in the mountains of North Carolina!

This property is located in a very peaceful area. There is a covered front porch with plenty of seating and a gas grill. There is also a fire pit in the front yard with plenty of firewood. The hosts were very attentive and checked in often with us. They even met us at the property when we first arrived to show us around the home and to answer any questions we had. The home was very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the vanity and comfortable chair with a makeup mirror in the master bedroom. I recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to stay.
