Spacious 2BD Flat with Stunning Views Folkestone

Lovely apartment with fantastic view and comfy beds. Everything we needed.

Nothing we didn’t like, a coffee machine would have been nice. And a couple of the blinds didn’t work correctly but minor things that didn’t affect our stay.

Cleanliness. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Wonderful location.

Flat was spacious and well equipped and in a good location and would stay again

Only the fact that it was four flights up but in the pictures it looks like it is ground floor

Keys were available and the access codes provided were correct. Good central location with excellent views from the front of the property. Wifi was good, Beddiing to a point was clean. Parking was free during our stay, which was a welcome bonus. Convenient location to help my parents (not a holiday stay).

The property came with a long list of rules but fell short in several key areas. Finding the keys was confusing – the instructions weren’t clear, and we had to collect them from the neighbouring property rather than the one we booked, which felt strange and intrusive. The entrance area was littered with rubbish, adding to the awkward first impression. £300 Deposit that should be clear on booking, cleaning fee's in email what cleaning? The property itself was not the cleanest. There were noticeable stains on the couch hidden with a throw and far more hair on the carpet than should have been there – I even had to hoover it myself. On one of the windows, Looked like a blood stain to me, again in the bedroom with 2 singles, blood on the one of the cushions. Coiuld be wrong but wasnt going to clean that up! Noise was a major issue across all three nights: First night: Loud music and voices from the flat above until 2am. Second night: Screaming from the hotel next door. Third night: Strong cannabis smell drifting in from the property at the back, combined with people shouting at each other until 3am. Despite the many house rules, the host provided almost no response when we had questions, with no communication or feedback. For the high price and strict rules, this was very poor value. Hotels just down the road were cheaper, quieter, and far less hassle. We won’t be returning.
